Chittagong Port and Shah Amanat Int'l Airport Trip_KG2

Our KG2 students went to a trip to Shah Amanat International Airport and Chittagong Sea Port on Monday, December 12, 2012. It was an educational trip for them as they saw any kinds of transports on the way. To ancient to modern they saw all kinds of transport. Once upon a time we had carriage pulled by horses ship then later on came car trains rails and air etc but this trip was a good one indeed. As with the students we the teachers also enjoyed a lot. They were lucky to see all the transport such as water, rails, and air. On the way first they saw cargo Lorries, ships trolleys and boats. The students were amazed to feel the boat and they were excited to take a photograph. Then we entered to the airport through Gate 12. There the airport manager Mr. Mohammad Rabiul Islam took us along with him. Security in Charge Mr. Nazrul Islam took us and we had a chance to go near an aircraft. He showed us all the parts of the plane and also showed us how they put out fire in the aircraft. When they saw the fire engine shooting out water they all were amazed, but the most exciting part was when they really saw a plane taking off and a helicopter landed in front of them. Then they saw how the luggages come on a belt and kept in the aircraft. Our students got a wonderful chance to know all the steps from scanning to boarding on board. On the way back that also saw an oil tanker and horse. We were lucky to show them all kinds of transports by which we travel. A special thanks to Mr. Mohammad Rabiul Islam and Mr. Nazrul Islam and the stuffs of Shah Amanat International Airport who showed us their patients and care of our little learners.

Seminar on O & A Level Education

A  high profile  education team consisting of Head of Sections, Head of  Subjects and along with two Vice Principals, has just arrived  from Dhaka Main Campus to inspect the educatinal activities of the school and meet the students  on 24^th Nov 2011. They  had a couple of programmes with concerned teachers and students.

Teachers had a long day observation in classes and appreciated with the quality of the education offered in Chitagong Branch. They  have  especially expressed their  contenment  on  teachers enthusiasm and experteese in their field.

Seminar on IGCSE & A Level  System was truly inspiring and informative.The covered  topics in the seminar are as follow; how to study effectively, how to prioritize the needs in learning, impact of extra curricular activities in university application and etc. Seeing senior students’ recent achievement on IGCSE and A Level Examination  made them more confident  on the way to their exams.

ITHS has been one of the top performing schools in IGCSE  and A Level Examinations globally.

Recently, The result  for May 2011 was extremely exceptional especially in Science Subjects.
