TRIP TO BUTTERFLY PARK
The day was Saturday,4th February,2012. Students of grade KG1 of Int’l Turkish Hope School – Chittagong Branch were taken at a trip to Butterfly Park situated at the Naval area.
The journey started at 10am sharp. We, four teachers along with the students started the ride with 2 microbuses. The students were bursting in enthusiasm. Singing, screaming and laughing all the way, we reached the spot at 11.10am.
We were warmly welcomed at the entrance by the authorities of the park. First, we entered a cage surrounded with a net. There, we were amazed seeing the various plants and colourful butterflies that ornamented those plants. After taking some snaps over there, we went to another colourful cage were there were even more alluring butterflies. After enjoying all these views, it was time for the kids to play. We went to the children’s corner where there were slippers and slides that were enough to take away the heart of our students. There, the students played till 12pm. Then, we moved to the lake to meet the golden fishes. The guide of the park gave us two packets of food for the fishes. As we spread them on the water, all the fishes gathered at a side and seeing this, enthusiasm of our students rose thousand times higher. After spending time with fishes, the children went back to play for more 10-15 minutes. After that, the guide took us to the museum where we were amused seeing the butterfly collection. There were samples of different butterflies found all over the world. We took a view at all of them and then it was time for lunch. The food was truly delicious and all enjoyed it. After lunch, it was time to put an end to all fun. Back on the microbuses, we came back to school at 2.45pm.
The happiest part of the trip is that our students really enjoyed it which made it worthy. Also the total management of the park was really very co-operative which made the trip even more successful. Hoping to get lots more wonderful trips like this in future!
